Feature-rich Lucy - Original drawing, 2020 (11.8”x16.5")

In these days of lockdown, Clara is experiencing very mixed feelings. Clara misses her routine, the people around her; she misses being at our house and walking around the city. Most importantly, Clara was very anxious about contracting the virus and having to be in the hospital alone. We are by her side trying to understand what is happening, but it is not easy. So when I saw this drawing, my heart was filled with joy. It is the first drawing that Clara has finished in this quarantine. Clara told us that she has hope that things will get better.
